Enough is Too Much?

Ed Champion, one of a (maybe 2 )handful(s) of literary internet pioneers — operating for well over a decade— would make that designation a minimally apt description of the tireless bibliophile who among other accomplishments has amassed an unparalled archive of literary interviews to be found at his alter ego’s website,The Bat Segundo Show has enlisted friends and the like to one of his occasional roundtables. The latest book to be put under the analytical and critical microscope is Dana Spiotta’s Stone Arabia which as coincidence would have it was recently reviewed twice in the New York Times, the first by Kate Christensen and the latter by Michiko Kakatumni.

Ed publishes the texts of his various roundtables at his daily journal Reluctant Habits and as yours truly was a participant in the latest gabfest I am propelled by both self interest and public service to publicize this worthy enterprize

You, no doubt, have not expected this cornucopia of discussion about Ms Spiotta—nonetheless sometimes the mysterious forces of literature be this way. Not a bad thing.
